In order to guarantee the championship in the youth championship, Kyiv had to win this match. Of course, there were other options, but it was the victory that removed all questions about the first place.
The guests started the match actively, made several interesting attacks and opened the scoring in the 9th minute - after a corner kick, Lobko chose the best position in the opponent's penalty area and headed the ball into the net.
But a minute later, Rukh players equalised. Surkis pulled the ball out after a treacherous shot into the far corner, but no one had time to close down Koval, who successfully finished and hit the goal with a shot from a sharp angle.
After a productive start to the match, the teams began to play more reliably in defence and for some time did not allow each other to create goal-scoring chances. There were attacks from both sides, but in the final stages, either the defenders acted reliably or the attacking players made technical errors.
In the 40th minute, Dynamo succeeded in a classic positional attack with a ball transfer to the wing and a subsequent accentuated shot, which was touched down by the same Lobko. A double by the Dynamo forward in the first half of the match and such an important advantage at the end of the half!
After the break, Ihor Kostiuk's men quickly settled all the questions about the winner. In the 58th minute, Osypenko scored the third goal with a great shot from the penalty spot and the game was completely under the control of Kyiv.
Dynamo played well in defence, prevented the opposition from creating chances and organised several dangerous attacks. In one of them, the hosts were saved from a fourth missed goal by the post, but in the 75th minute Osipenko made a double and brought the score to 4-1 in favour of Dynamo.
In the last minute, Geric scored the fifth goal, making the final score of the Rukh vs Dynamo match 1-5. A confident victory for Kyiv and a well-deserved triumph in the youth championship!
Congratulations to the players, coaching staff and staff of the U-19 team on winning the tournament!
