Genoa midfielder Ruslan Malinowski commented on his goal against Bologna in the Italian league match.
"A lot of positive emotions this evening. I was a bit afraid after the injury, but I still worked hard. However, I was a bit lacking in physical form, but I am happy to win and I am grateful to the Genoa fans.
We played to win in order to go as high as possible in the standings. I think the coach will be pleased. He motivated us a lot before the match.
Euro 2024? I'm inspired. I did everything to return [to the Ukrainian national team]. Playing at the European Championship is great. I will rest for a couple of days and then return to work," Malinowski said.
"Genoa, thanks to the victory over Bologna, secured 11th place in the Serie A table with 49 points.
