Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku returns to the club after a one-year loan spell at Roma. However, the 31-year-old Belgian is not part of the London club's plans.
According to journalist Nicolo Scira, Lukaku is keen to be reunited with Antonio Conte, as they have developed a very strong relationship since their time together at Inter. If Conte takes over at Napoli, Romelu will be one of the main targets for the Neapolitan club in the summer transfer window. In Naples, Lukaku is expected to replace Victor Aubameyang, who is close to joining PSG.
In the 2023/24 campaign, Lukaku played 47 matches for Roma in all competitions, scoring 21 goals and providing four assists.
