Dnipro-1 Commercial Director Vyacheslav Fridman spoke about the club's future.
"We have a future. We will sell several players whose contracts are about to expire, and we have some funding. Yes, it is quite complicated at the moment, because the companies that used to finance the club cannot do so in full because of the war. In addition, the city is quite close to the war zone, so, for example, the U-19 boys who live at the base are constantly nervous, spending nights in bomb shelters. Their parents are unhappy that their children train in Dnipro, they would like them to train in a conditional Rivne, Zhytomyr, Uzhhorod, Lviv. I think everyone who has a child understands me now.
Additional sponsors? The club is working on this, but these issues have not been resolved. If someone can help us find sponsors, we will be happy to cooperate. We are appealing to many people, please, if you are willing, let's help the club from your hometown. We all understand that we have quite wealthy entrepreneurs, but they are indifferent to football," Friedman said in an interview with the Dniproynyn telegram channel.
