Minaj's head coach Željko Lubenović commented on the team's relegation to the First League after the defeat by Kryvbas in the last round of the 2023/2024 Ukrainian league season.
"What does the future hold for Minaj after relegation to the First League? We start preparing for the First League on Sunday. I hope we will have offers for players. I want them to go up. We will be busy with the team for the new season. The task is to return to the UPL in one year. We will do everything for this.
I have another year of my contract with the club. I will stay at Minaj and work here. In general, we have done a lot of work: in 2024 we scored 19 points. We were just a little bit short. I'm grateful to my players for this season," the official website of Kryvbas quoted Lyubenovych as saying.
