"Aston Villa has announced on its official website that it has extended its contract with head coach Unai Emery.
The new agreement of the Spanish specialist is valid until the summer of 2029. Under the new agreement, the Villans have significantly increased Emery's salary.
Interestingly, just recently, at the end of last month, Aston Villa extended Emery's contract until the summer of 2027. However, after the successful end of the season, the club decided to improve the conditions for the coach.
Emery, 52, has been in charge of Aston Villa since November 2022. This season, the Birmingham club sensationally finished in fourth place in the Premier League and guaranteed its participation in the Champions League for the first time since 1984.
