"We thought we were going to die" - Cadiz players about the emergency landing of the plane

A plane carrying Spanish footballers from Cadiz made an emergency landing in Seville due to an engine problem, Marca reports.

According to a source, the players and coaching staff of Cadiz were flying to El Salvador to take part in a friendly match. However, immediately after departure, the captain of the Boeing 767 aircraft made an emergency landing due to an engine problem. It is noted that there were no injuries, but the Cadiz players are shocked.

"We thought we were going to die," Marca quoted Cadiz player Alex Fernandez as saying.

It is worth reminding that at the end of the season, Cadiz finished 18th and went down to the Segunda.
