In the 2023/2024 season, for the first time since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the Ukrainian Football Association held the final match of the Ukrainian Cup, which was called the Match of Gratitude to the Defence Forces of Ukraine, because it is thanks to the defenders that matches are held, and even with fans in the stadium.
All proceeds from ticket sales, namely UAH 1,400,000, will be donated by the Ukrainian Football Association for the rehabilitation of the military.
The Association, together with Recovery, plans to purchase sets of Smart Ball ergotherapy balls and tablets to be delivered to nine rehabilitation centres. These kits will be an important addition to the occupational therapy halls and will speed up the recovery of the military after injuries.
