The sad news from the war reverberates in the football community with a burning pain. Another one of our defenders, Ivan Shevchenko, with the call sign "Technician", returned home on a shield. He was killed while performing a mission as assigned.
Ivan was a squad leader of a separate reconnaissance platoon. At the age of 22, he had a difficult path behind him, and despite everything, he went through it with dignity. He was always famous for his resilience, straightforwardness and strong character, which he proved many times both on the battlefield and during his rest.
FC Dynamo Kyiv expresses its deep sorrow over Ivan's death and sincere condolences to his family and friends. We will always remember his heroic deeds. Eternal memory to the Hero.
