"Tottenham managed to retain striker Timo Werner for the next season. The German forward's loan has been extended until the 2024/25 season, according to the Spurs' official website.
The 28-year-old forward, who joined on loan from Leipzig in January, was the main player in Angelos Postecoglou's team in the second half of last season.
Werner played 13 matches in the English Premier League, scoring two goals and providing three assists. Timo's current contract with Leipzig runs until the summer of 2026.
