The likelihood of Joshua Kimmich's move from Bayern Munich to Barcelona is decreasing with each passing day.
According to Diario Sport, Barcelona's sporting director Deco has prepared a detailed report for the management, advising against signing Kimmich. In the report, Decoux states that Kimmich has a rather problematic personality and can cause significant problems in the locker room.
The new Catalan head coach Hans-Dieter Flick will not insist on Kimmich's transfer, despite having previously worked with him at Bayern Munich.
Signing a new holding midfielder is a priority for Barcelona this summer. It is likely that the club will sign two players for this position, as they have already agreed to bring Guido Rodriguez from Betis on a free transfer.
