"Borussia Dortmund is entering into a partnership with the defence company Rheinmetall, according to the club's official website.
Rheinmetall's logo will be visible for the first time on the team's equipment during Borussia's preparations for the Champions League final. The agreement was signed for three years.
"Security and defence are the cornerstones of our democracy. That is why we believe it is the right decision to focus very intensively on how we protect these cornerstones," said Hans-Joachim Watzke, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Borussia Dortmund.
