"We play very little. Perhaps we should think about the League Cup", - Veres president

Ivan Nadein, the president of Veres Rovno, has spoken in favour of increasing the number of matches within the football season in Ukraine.

"I think our teams need to play more in official games. "Veres" will play 34 duels during the season. This is not enough. Our neighbours from Europe play 45-50 calendar matches each.

Perhaps we should think about inventing a League Cup, for example. Something useful to take from England. Or maybe we should divide the clubs territorially and have another tournament. Many players would have more game practice. We play very little. If we hold such a tournament in winter, we can play on an artificial pitch. The situation with football fields has already become much better," Nadein said.
