Sport.ua has learned that Karpaty have given up on the idea of acquiring Polesya midfielder Vyacheslav Tankovskiy for financial reasons, but they might return to his candidature later.
In the completed season, 28-year-old Tankovskiy was an important figure in the Zhytomyr team. On his account 27 matches, 2 goals and 2 assists.
"Polesie" bought the player last summer from "Metalist" for 150 thousand euros.
Earlier Tankovskiy also played for Zarya, Mariupol, Shakhtar, Kyiv Arsenal and Dnipro-1.
