Manchester United head coach Eric ten Hag has spoken about the Red Devils' transfer policy.
"The sums paid for the players are indeed very high, but I am not responsible for that. The club held negotiations, including with quality players who ultimately did not move.
It's much more subtle than people make it out to be when they say that the club's transfer policy is disastrous. Despite all the negative things, the team's foundation has been strengthened. Maybe it's not visible to the outside world now, but everyone inside the club can see it," the Mirror quotes ten Hag as saying.
