Real Madrid defender Dani Carvajal commented on the team's victory in the Champions League.

I am part of a select group of only five players who have won this tournament six times. It's a unique feeling! I am very happy to be writing history with Real Madrid.
Since I was a kid, I've been doing my best, and my friends have always told me: "Take it easy, it's not the Champions League!" - I think this is the best way to describe how difficult it is to win this trophy. There is nothing more important at the club level. I managed to win another Champions Cup and I am very grateful for that," Carvajal was quoted as saying by the UEFA press service.
