Atalanta centre-back Giorgio Scalvini is out for a long time.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio, the 20-year-old tore his anterior cruciate ligament in the last match of the club's season against Fiorentina (2-3). Thus, the Italian national team loses another central defender on the eve of the European Championship.
This season, Scalvini has played 44 matches for Atalanta in all competitions, scoring two goals and providing three assists.
