Ukraine's national team has been paid bonuses for reaching the finals of Euro 2024, journalist Ihor Burbas has said.
"The Ukrainian national team has been paid bonuses. At the beginning of the German training camp, the players, coaches and staff received the promised UAH 140 million ($3.5 million in equivalent) for reaching the final of Euro 2024. The figure is higher than the budgeted amount before the start of the selection. The timing is right, it serves as a pleasant motivation before the start of the preparation cycle. In the evening, the first sparring match is against Germany," Burbas wrote on Telegram.
