Sergei Rebrov- I think each team solved its own problems today. I am satisfied with the result of the match, but we made a lot of mistakes in defense. So we need to work. We are not ready for 100 percent yet, and in matches against teams like Germany, all players should be ready for 100 percent. In any case, it was a very important sparring for us, which will help us to prepare for the Euro.
- Why did you decide to play three central defenders today?
- Because we analyzed the game of the German national team in recent matches. This team now uses the corridors very well, and we tried to close them. I think we managed to do it today. In the second half, fatigue was already affecting us, it was hard to resist the opponent. But, I repeat, it was a very important sparring for us.
- Did the German national team surprise you in any way?
- Compared to our friendly match with Germany a year ago (3:3 - ed.), this team, I think, has improved and become stronger. I consider the German national team one of the favorites of Euro-2024.
- Was today's match a good warm-up for the Ukraine national team?
- It was not a warm-up. When the stadium is full, everyone plays to the maximum. I think today we represented Ukraine very well. It is very important that the Ukrainians saw how we fight on the soccer field. I am grateful to the players that they conveyed the spirit of our nation.
- How do you evaluate the game of Zinchenko, who today nominally played left wing-back, but at the same time shifted to the center of the field?
- It was his task. He plays like that not only for us, but also for Arsenal. I think he was very well motivated today and played very well.
- Have you already decided who will be the main goalkeeper of the Ukrainian national team at Euro-2024?
- We have three friendly matches before the Euro, one of which we have already played. All three of our goalkeepers will get practice in these friendlies. After these matches we will make a decision.
