Joshua Kimmich: "Ukraine couldn't complain if we had won 1-0 or 2-0"

Germany midfielder Joshua Kimmich commented on the draw of yesterday's friendly match against Ukraine (0:0).

"We played a good game. The Ukraine national team could not complain if we won 1:0 or 2:0. It is difficult to score against an opponent who defends so well. We had a lot of very good chances, which cannot be said about a team playing in a 5-4-1 scheme.

We started the game well, we possessed the ball a lot and were present in the opponent's penalty area. It is a pity that we could not score. You can see that we are keen to win.
