"Liverpool has made an official statement on the departure of defender Joel Matip and midfielder Thiago Alcantara.
Representatives of the Merseyside club will leave Anfield at the end of their contracts at the end of June.
During his stay at Liverpool, Matip played 200 games, scored 11 goals and won seven titles with the team, including victories in the Champions League and the Premier League.
Thiago has played 98 matches since joining from Bayern Munich in 2020, and during this time the Spaniard has won the FA Cup and the Super Cup.
