Midfielder Maxim Bragaru, who signed a four-year contract with Dynamo Kyiv with an option to extend it for another year, shared his impressions of the event.
Maksym Bragaru (right) vs. Oleksandr Tymchyk- Congratulations on your move to Dynamo, how do you feel about it?
- Of course, I am very happy! It was my dream come true. "Dynamo is a great club with a glorious history, a top team, and I am very happy to be part of such a team now.
- Did you know about Dynamo's interest in you beforehand? There were rumors about your transfer a long time ago...
- In the winter, I knew for sure that Dynamo were interested in me.
- How long did the transition take? Did you immediately agree to the offer of Kyiv?
- It was relatively short. Before signing the contract, I had a conversation with Andriy Yarmolenko. It was an honor for me to talk to such a person, a legend, a top footballer. After talking to him, I made an important decision for myself without a doubt.
- You are a product of Odesa football, is this your first move to another city?
- Yes, it is the first time I leave my native Odesa and move to another city.
- You can play several positions, including left back and right winger, but where do you personally like to play the most?
- I try to progress in every position where the coach sees me. But my favorite position is winger.
- Universalism is a very valuable quality in modern football, can you say that it is fully inherent in you?
- I think so, because I played in different positions for two years.
- You are currently with the Ukrainian Olympic team, which is taking part in an international tournament in France. Are the preparations for the Olympic Games in full swing?
- At this stage, every game is important for us to improve our understanding of the game, to be a team and to become better through matches.
- For our players, including you, this is the first such experience. What do you expect from your performances at the Olympics?
- For Ukraine, this is the first time it has ever been to the Olympics. We want to represent our country with dignity, prove ourselves, show our best game and fight for the highest places.
- What are your goals for Dynamo? Are you looking forward to making your debut in European competitions?
- I have only the highest goals. I will do my best to progress and become better every day. European Cups are my dream, so I'm really looking forward to this moment.
- What are your plans now? When will you be able to join Dynamo?
- At the moment, I am with the Olympic team in France. After the tournament, I will have time to rest, and in the 20th of June I will join Dynamo.
