On Thursday, June 6, the Ukrainian Olympic team continued its performance at the Tournoi Maurice Revello international tournament in France with a match against Italy.
It will be recalled that in the opening match Ruslan Rotan's wards defeated the Indonesian team 3-0. Now they had to face the Italian national team, which also took three points in the first round, beating the Japanese 4-3. The match took place in the city of Oban.

The first half hour of the game passed in a struggle with almost no chances. And then the Ukrainian national team opened the scoring: Martyniuk launched Khlan on the flank, who entered the penalty area and put it into the far corner. Before the break, the blue-and-yellows checked the keeper Fedor and Saluk, and the Italians remember Gilardi's miss from a deadly position.
In the 53rd minute, the Ukrainians doubled their lead - Martyniuk scored a magnificent long-range shot from Fedir's pass. Later, Sikan sent the ball into the net, playing on the finish after Hlan's blocked attempt. In the 71st minute, another goal for our team was organized by the players who had just come on as substitutes - Yarmolyuk assisted Voloshin. Later, Krasnopir missed a good chance. So in the end, Ruslan Rotan's wards confidently won 4-0.
The next match at the international tournament will be held on June 8 against Panama.
