Poland striker Robert Lewandowski commented on his team's victory over Ukraine (3:1) in yesterday's friendly match.
"There are a lot of good players in the Ukraine national team. And it does not matter that some of them did not play today: and without them it is a strong national team.
I think the first goal allowed us to be more relaxed and confident. But, of course, it was not without its shortcomings - there is always something to improve in your game. Especially before the Euro.
I think that the Ukraine national team started the match badly, but already in the 2nd minute of the game there was a forced break (because of the injury of the Polish striker Arkadiusz Milik - ed.). But we managed to get back into the game, created chances, hit the opponent's goal. And even in difficult situations, we controlled the ball," Lewandowski said on Polish TV after the match against Ukraine.
