Toni Kroos has decided to retire from Real Madrid after the Champions League final victory over Borussia Dortmund, leaving a great legacy that he cites as the main reason for his retirement.
"I want Real Madrid fans to remember me as the 34-year-old Toni Kroos who had the best season at Real Madrid. I take it as a compliment that many people think it's too early for me to retire from football," Marca quoted Kroos as saying.
