"Manchester City announced on its official website that it has extended the contract with its backup goalkeeper Stefan Ortega. The new agreement of the German goalkeeper is valid until the end of the 2025/26 season.
"I am delighted to stay at Manchester City for a longer period. This is a football club that provides players with everything they need to be the best they can be. Every day I feel motivated and challenged and since I came here two years ago, I have improved as a goalkeeper.
My family has really settled down here in England and I love it here. Signing this contract means I can now focus 100% on next season," Ortega was quoted as saying by ESPN.
