The Ukrainian national team continues to prepare for Euro 2024. The next day after the match is a recovery day for the starting lineup and a decent physical workout for those who did not play or came on as substitutes. It was on this principle that yesterday's training day of the national team of Ukraine was organized, which was preceded by a friendly match with Poland (1-3).
Interestingly, three players of the "basis" of sparring with the Poles - Andriy Yarmolenko, Serhiy Sydorchuk and Oleksandr Tymchyk - preferred recovery exercises on the field: the guys jogged and stretched, watching the actions of their teammates. Georgiy Bushchan, on the other hand, had a full training session - both in the goalkeeper's trio and during the game series.
Meanwhile, after a short run and warm-up, the main group of players practiced holding the ball in the squares and had a full game training session. During the session, there were series with tactical tasks, as well as high-speed strength work in stations with final shots.
Today is the final day of our national team's training camp in Warsaw, and on June 10 the delegation will fly to Chisinau, where on June 11 the "blue and yellows" will play the last friendly match before the start of Euro 2024 - against the national team of Moldova (the meeting starts at 19:00 Kyiv time).
The next day, June 12, the Ukrainian national team will arrive at the place of permanent deployment for Euro 2024 - the city of Wiesbaden.
