Moldova's coach Sergei Kleshchenko: "I think Ukraine will not allow us to have much possession of the ball"

On the eve of tomorrow's friendly match between Moldova and Ukraine, which will take place in Chisinau at the Zimbru Stadium (kick-off: 19:00 Kyiv time), our opponent's head coach Serhii Kleshchenko spoke to the media.

- It's no secret that the offensive line is the strongest in the Ukrainian national team. Moreover, the five attacking players have more or less equivalent replacements. If I start naming names, my head will just spin. After all, all of these names are quite famous and high-profile. We see these players every week in very strong championships. The game will show how we will defend. We will tell the guys what we want to see.

However, even when we have to defend most of the match, we are still focused on attacking. I think that Ukraine will not allow us to have much possession. We need to be ready to take the ball away and look for quick attacks. Or to look for the ball and keep it for some breathing room. Whatever the case, we always strive to get to the opponent's goal as quickly as possible," Kleshchenko said.
