Southgate: "If England doesn't win the Euros, I'll probably be out of the national team"

England head coach Gareth Southgate has revealed his plans after Euro 2024.

"I've been with the national team for almost eight years, and we're constantly getting closer to victory. You can't ask the fans all the time: "A little more, please," because at some point people lose faith. If we want to be a great team, and I want to be the best coach, we have to deliver results in important moments.

If we don't win, I probably won't be here anymore. So maybe this is the last chance. I think about half of the national team coaches will leave after the tournament - that's the nature of international football," The Times quoted Southgate as saying.
