Netherlands midfielder Kopmeijers to miss Euro 2024 due to injury

Ten Kopmeijers, the key central midfielder of Atalanta and the Netherlands national team, will officially miss Euro 2024.

The 26-year-old footballer felt discomfort in his groin during the warm-up before the friendly against Iceland. A medical examination showed that Ten will need about a month to recover. These terms exclude any possibility of his participation in Euro 2024.

Earlier, the Dutch national team lost two more key central midfielders, Martin de Roon and Frankie de Jong.
