Atletico Madrid have managed to reach an agreement in principle on a transfer with Ukrainian striker Artem Dovbik of Girona, said in his tweet journalist Patrick Berger.
According to the source, Italian Napoli is also negotiating the transfer of the 26-year-old player, but the favorite here is Atletico, as Dovbik himself would like to continue his career in Spain.
The journalist also specifies that the amount of payoff for the Ukrainian, fixed in his contract with Girona, is 40 million euros.
Earlier, it was reported that Italian side AC Milan also have views on Dovbik, but in this case, the Ukrainian striker is not a priority transfer target for the club.
