Former Romania midfielder Adrian Popa, who participated in Euro 2016 as part of the "tricolors", said what he thinks about the starting match of his country's national team at Euro 2024 - against Ukraine.

- I think that the players of the Ukrainian national team see us as cannon fodder. Look who plays in this team and in which championships they play for their clubs.
