Oleksandr Zinchenko: "It will be extremely difficult with Romania"

Ukraine midfielder Oleksandr Zinchenko told what he expects from the starting match of his national team at Euro 2024 - this Monday, against Romania.

"Everyone knows very well the current situation in Ukraine, for us it is an additional motivation. So I give one hundred percent that on Monday we will leave much more soul on the pitch than our opponent.

We have to show our best game and then we will see what happens. Of course, I know many Romanian players.

We are preparing for the upcoming match in the best possible way. Because we will face a strong team. It will be an extremely difficult match. But we must focus on our game, on what we can offer to the opponent. The Ukraine national team has a great team now, and I see no reason why we could not achieve the goal," Gazeta Sporturilor quoted Zinchenko as saying.
