Former Shakhtar coach to take charge of Marseille

Former Brighton head coach Roberto De Zerbi, who previously worked at Shakhtar, is close to being appointed as Marseille's coach.

According to L'Équipe, the parties have already agreed on the terms of a personal contract and are ready to sign all the necessary documents. The agreement will run until 2027.

"Brighton will receive financial compensation for their former manager - up to 6 million euros.

Earlier it was reported that De Zerbi was one of the candidates for the Manchester United head coaching job.
