Iya Andrushchak will become the first female coach of an adult men's team in Ukraine

Vorskla Poltava's vice president Oleh Lysak has informed that Iia Andrushchak will lead the second team of the green-and-whites, which will play in the second league in the new season.

Without exaggeration, this is a revolutionary and historic decision in Ukrainian football - the second team of the Poltava club will be led by Iia Andrushchak, who previously worked with the Poltava U-19 youth team.

The team will consist of players born in 2004 and younger. "Vorskla-2 will play at the Molodizhny Stadium in Poltava.

At the end of the 2023/24 season, three teams made it from the second to the first league: "Druzhba from Myrivka (the team officially withdrew from the next championship), YukSA and Zvyagel.
