The referees who will work at the opening match of the Ukrainian national team at Euro 2024 against Romania have been announced

The UEFA press service has announced the names of the referees who will work the first round of the Euro 2024 group stage match between Romania and the Ukrainian national team.

It is reported that the upcoming match will be officiated by a refereeing team from Sweden led by 35-year-old Glenn Nyberg. He will be assisted by Mahboud Badji and Andreas Soderqvist. The fourth referee is Espen Eskos from Norway.

The match will also feature the VAR system. The main VAR referee is Rob Dipperink from the Netherlands. The assistant VAR referee is Jerome Brizard (France).

It will be recalled that the match between Romania and Ukraine will take place on Monday, June 17, in Munich. The match starts at 16:00 Kyiv time.
