Police are conducting a security operation in the center of Hamburg after a man with an axe threatened police and people around him, BBC reports.

The incident happened today at around 12.30 local time outside the fan zone for fans of the Dutch national team at Euro 2024. The team will face Poland in Hamburg today at 16:00.
Bild reported that the man also threw himself at the fans of the Netherlands - about 40 thousand people were just marching through the streets of the city.
