Vitaliy Mykolenko will not play against Romania - officially

Ukraine defender Vitaliy Mykolenko will not play in our team's opening match at Euro 2024 against Romania on Monday.

This was announced today at a press conference by the head coach of the Blue and Yellows Serhii Rebrov.

We will remind, Mykolenko suffered a foot injury in a friendly match with Moldova (4:0) and could not continue the game. The head doctor of the Ukrainian national team, Roman Zholobaylyuk, said that Mykolenko had injured the Lisfranc joint.
