Andriy Yarmolenko, a midfielder for Dynamo Kyiv and the Ukrainian national team, has set a historic achievement for Ukrainian football.

The midfielder took part in the Euro 2024 match between Ukraine and Romania, coming on in the second half. Thus, Yarmolenko became the first player in the history of Ukrainian football to play in the final stage of four European Championships.

Earlier, Yarmolenko took part in Euro 2012 (one assist), Euro 2016 and Euro 2020 (two goals, two assists).

It will be recalled that our national team will play its next match at Euro 2024 on Friday, June 21, against the Slovak national team.
