Yuriy Virt: "The first game at Euro 2024 was a failure. This gives Rebrov the opportunity to put other players on the field now"

Former goalkeeper and now a well-known Ukrainian coach Yuriy Virt shared his thoughts on who should play in the goal of the Ukrainian national team in the Euro 2024 match against Slovakia.

"Ukraine currently has two equivalent goalkeepers. Before the first match, I said that Andriy Lunin deserves a place in the lineup more. We saw perfectly well that he did not cope with his, so to speak, direct duties.

There were more than one mistake that led to the goal, so I think Trubin should still be in the lineup for the next game.
