Former Italian national team striker Roberto Baggio became a victim of thieves who robbed his house and inflicted injuries, Corriere del Veneto reports.

It is reported that Roberto tried to resist one of them, but after a short struggle, the robber hit him on the forehead with a gun, causing a deep wound, after which the ex-footballer and his family members were locked in a room. Meanwhile, the criminals ransacked the room, stealing watches, jewelry and money. It is still impossible to estimate the damage. When the footballer realized that the robbers had left, he broke down the door and called the police. Later, Baggio underwent several stitches to the wound.
