Spain's head coach Luis de la Fuente commented on his team's victory in the 2nd round of the Euro 2024 group stage match against the Italian national team.
"I am happy and proud of these players. The other day I said that they never get tired of playing and winning, and they proved it again. The match turned out to be difficult. We dominated in all phases of the game, created many chances, but the difference in the score was not significant. Every game at the European Championship is different. We need to continue working with the same modesty, realizing that there is room for growth. The next games will require improvement, and our players are capable of it," AS quoted de la Fuente as saying.
