Volodymyr Brazhko, the midfielder of Dynamo Kyiv and the Ukraine national team, commented on the victory of his national team over Slovakia (2:1) in yesterday's match of the 2nd round of the group stage of Euro-2024 in Group "E" on the air of the Youtube-channel "PROFUTBOL Digital".
Vladimir Brazhko- Emotions are positive, a victory that we have been waiting for for a long time and for which we worked. We wanted to please the Ukrainians, to put a smile on their faces in a difficult time for Ukraine. I hope that we succeeded. But we have a lot to work on. There is the next game, we need to switch to the match with Belgium.
- How did you feel when you conceded a goal? How not to give up in such a situation?
- We knew that we had nothing to lose, so we just got excited. After the break, we added more pressing, and everything worked out. We analyzed Slovakia's pressing, we knew where and what problems this team has. We found these problems when we scored the second goal. Everything worked out. I am glad that we won.
- In the first half it seemed that you played second number. Was that the set-up for the game?
- We wanted to press, but we did not succeed a bit. At halftime we made some adjustments, and in the second half we started to press more.
- Was the conversation at halftime more emotional or calm?
- The usual conversation, the coaches told us what we should do, who and where we should move. Everything worked out as you can see.
- There was a tough conversation in the locker room after the previous match. And what was it now?
- Joy. But it is not much, because we already have the mood for the match with Belgium. We need to forget today's game little by little - it is already history. We will prepare.

- Thank you for your support. I know that you are with us both during victories and defeats. We feel this support and we want to please you. Thank you for this support!
