Forward of the Slovak national team: "In the match against Romania we must play for victory"

Slovakia forward Stanislav Šestak commented on the defeat of the Ukrainian national team in the Euro 2024 match.

"An unfortunate result for us. We played a good match against a quality opponent, the first 35 minutes were completely ours. But at the beginning of the second half, the Ukrainians equalized, they went ahead because they had no choice. The Ukrainian national team has a quality team, we played well in the first half, and in the second half we were worse, allowing them to score twice.

In the last match of the group round, we will also play against a serious opponent, but everything is in our hands. We have to play to win. We have everything to do so," Sport.ks quoted Shestak as saying.
