Dynamo Kyiv midfielder Serhiy Buletsa, who played on loan for Polish side Zaglembe Lublin in the 2023/24 season, spoke about his future.
Sergey Buletsa- It has already been announced that you are returning from your loan to Dynamo. How would you assess your period in Poland in terms of football and everyday life?
- I can say that I had good times here. Of course, it was hard: another country, another mentality. But in general, I consider this period to be a good one.
- What do you particularly remember from this Polish stage of your career?
- Speaking in general, I was pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere at the stadiums and the fans. For me personally, I remember positively the period of performances in the first round of the championship.
- What's next for you? Transfermarkt notes that your contract with Dynamo is valid until June 30, 2024. Will you negotiate its extension? Have you had any preliminary contacts with the club?
- I can't say for sure about this at the moment. I think you will find out soon (smiles).
- What do you associate with the lack of trust in Dynamo? With which of the coaches did you have the best understanding?
- I had a good relationship with all of Dynamo's coaches. It just so happened that we agreed with some of them, and not with others. Well, injuries also bothered me, preventing me from proving myself in the first team.
- How would you rate the 2023/24 season for Dynamo? How much did Oleksandr Shovkovskyi's arrival change the team?
- In my opinion, Oleksandr Volodymyrovych gave the team players more confidence. The team began to act more relaxed, played their typical football, and as a result, showed good results.
- Kyiv have already strengthened their squad with Oleksandr Pikhalenko and Maksym Bragaru. The transfer of Colombian defender Bryan Ceballos is to be announced soon. How do you assess Dynamo's chances of winning the championship in the next 2024/25 campaign?
- Dynamo always aims for only the highest goals. This applies to the last season and the next one. I think that next year Dynamo has every chance of becoming the champion.
- In general, have you followed other teams in the Ukrainian Premier League? Who impressed you in a positive and negative way?
- Of course I did. I was positively surprised by the performances of Kryvbas under the leadership of Yuriy Vernydub. They had concentration and stability almost throughout the season.
What were the negative aspects? I can't say here, but it's a shame about Metalist 1925 Kharkiv. They have really good players, and the coach is very good, a true professional. Perhaps they lacked experience, some kind of chemistry somewhere.
