Ukraine will try to compete for Dnipro-1's place in European competitions.
According to the TaToTake telegram channel, the question of whether Rukh, which finished 6th in the Ukrainian league last season, can represent Ukraine in European competitions instead of Dnipro-1 if the Dnipro club ceases to exist is currently being studied.
"Dnipro-1 was supposed to start the Conference League qualifiers, but this now looks rather unlikely given the latest information on the club's financial affairs.
UPL: "There have been no precedents for such a replacement after the draw so far. But there are consultations with UEFA ahead - perhaps they will take Ukraine's position into account, given the situation in our country."
Rukh: "There is little chance that we will be allowed to play. But perhaps they will take into account the fact that we are at war. What circumstances can be considered force majeure if not these?"
Earlier it was reported that Dnipro-1 had almost no players left before the start of the new season.
