"Perhaps the Slovak national team was a bit lucky against Belgium, but it really showed a very good game. We played just as well in the first half of the match against Ukraine, we opened the score, but after the break we made some mistakes and the opponent turned the situation around.

I am convinced that in the match with Romania everyone will give 100% and we will achieve a result that will allow us to get out of the group. I think that Romania is a more difficult opponent than Ukraine. I have seen its matches. This team plays modern, technical soccer. Romanians are aggressive and attack very dangerously.

So it will definitely be a very difficult match. But the Romanian national team is within our capabilities. The Slovak national team showed at this Euro that they can play with any opponent. I think the match will end with a 2-1 victory for Slovakia," Jakubko was quoted by the official website of the Slovak Football Union.
