Former Ukraine national team defender Vladyslav Vashchuk shared his expectations from the Euro 2024 Ukraine vs Belgium match.
"Like all Ukrainians, I am rooting for our national team. Only victory we need. I hope that they will approach the third game with a great desire to start the game the way they want to win.
The team needs to internally come together and do one thing for everyone. One thing on everyone - who's on the field, who's a substitute doesn't matter. Everyone needs to think and move in the direction that the win is going to be.
Play not so that one yellow card for the whole match and a lot of lost fight. Without wrestling there is no victory. We need to fight, and then technically work at the opponent's goal. And be less in their penalty box," - said Vashchuk.
