Ukraine national team defender Ilya Zabarny did not hide his emotions after the end of yesterday's match of the 3rd round of the group stage of Euro 2024 against Belgium (0:0), the result of which was not enough for the Ukrainian national team to get out of the group.
"I am devastated. It's very unfortunate that we let so many people down. We wanted to give them positive emotions, but it means we just didn't do enough to do that.
We played well today but, again, it wasn't enough. It's a shame that four points were not enough to qualify for the playoffs. We missed our chance in the first match against Romania," the official UEFA website quoted Zabarny as saying.
