Italian Serie A newcomer Como is working on a deal to sign Manchester United defender Raphael Varane, The Mirror reports.
Como head coach Cesc Fabregas will try to persuade the 31-year-old Frenchman to join his team. Varane has already announced his departure from Manchester United at the end of his contract on June 30.
It is worth noting that some publications have linked the experienced central defender with a move to Inter Miami, where he will join Leo Messi.
